i love it i got this for my daughter thats almost 2 and she sleeps so well in the bed its unreal .. and the toy boxs are OMG!! adorable the one thats a box like is kidda small but wroth it i got it when it was more money lol but it was worth it love it

Very cute!, 02/04/2010

We bought this for our daughter who is a bit over 2 years old. She is very tall for her age and we were worried that she would figure out that she could crawl out of her crib at any point she wanted to, plus leaning over the crib side posed a safety issue. I decided that this room in a box was the best value because it is on clearance for $85.xx and her room was already done in purple.

The set comes in a single box, not too big or heavy if you have to bring it home in a car. The bed was easy to put together. The only con with the bed is that the fairy stickers were scratched up and did not fit the area to which they were supposed to go... they needed to be trimmed down.

The bookshelf is decent, I was not expecting anything super solid. It is smaller than I was anticipating, but it holds a decent amount of small books, little dolls and things of that nature.

The "toy box" is a piece of junk. The fabric on the lid was frayed when we received it and the lid itself is hard for adults to get on. Since there is only cardboard keeping the frame, my little on stepped on it on accident, and now it is worthless.

Overall, I would recommend the product, the bed is solid and sturdy, which is what we were looking for. I don't think that this would suit a five year old though, it only takes a crib mattress. I think that by the time my daughter turns 4, she'll be ready for a new bed. Our son is very big for his age and is not even four yet and would not be able to sleep in this.

We did end up modifying the bed a bit to put a bigger safety rail on it because our daughter kept falling out. It more so has to do with the fact she is all over in her sleep, but once we put this on, she's stayed in every night, and actually looks forward to going to bed now :)

Yes, I would recommend, 12/06/2009

I got this for my 2 year old grandaughter. She loved the bed. The storage bins were nice but the square storage bin was torn in several places. But over all a good product and price.
