Find A Wish List
Add Items to Your Registry or Wish List
Most items can be added directly to your registry online. Just click the "Add to Registry" link on any item page.
You can also add items to your Gift Registry or Wish List at most Walmart stores (use this Store Finder if you're not sure where the closest store is).
To add items to your Gift Registry a Walmart store:
- Visit the Gift Registry kiosk, which can be found in the Jewelry department of most Walmart stores.
- Locate and print your Gift Registry on the kiosk by typing in your personal information.
- Hand the registry printout to a Walmart associate who will then provide you a handheld scanner. Note: you may be asked to provide a valid ID (i.e. driver's license, or state ID card) in exchange for a handheld scanner.
- The associate will explain how to use the scanner.
- Use the scanner to scan bar codes of the items you would like to add to your registry. If you want more than one of any item, you will have to scan the bar code multiple times.
- Once you have added all desired items, return to the Jewelry department and the associate will complete your registry and return your ID.
- Print out a copy of your registry to confirm that all items have been added.
At this point, the registry process is complete, and your items are added automatically.
Please note: The above instructions also apply to Wish Lists.
Create Your Registry or Wish List
You can create a Gift Registry or a Wish List online or in most stores with these steps:
At Walmart.com:
- Click "Registry" or "Wish List" at the top of any Walmart.com page.
- Click "Create a Registry."
- Please enter your personal and event information, and to select a four-digit PIN. Make sure that you remember your PIN for future access to your registry information.
- Review personal information and click Submit.
- Start adding items. Once you find an item that you wish to add to your registry, click on the Add to Registry button and the item will automatically be added to your registry.
Please note: The PIN that you create is an added security measure only for your Gift Registry or Wish List. Be sure to remember your PIN or record it in a safe place, because it is required for future access to your Gift Registry or Wish List information, both online and at your Walmart store.
At a Walmart Store:
- Visit the Gift Registry kiosk, which can be found in the Jewelry department of most Walmart stores.
- Touch the Create New Registry button.
- Follow the instructions for entering your personal information.
- You will be asked to create a four-digit PIN. Make sure that you remember it for future access to your Registry information.
- Verify that the information you entered is correct and touch the Complete button.
- An information sheet will be printed on the printer below the touch screen. Please read the instructions regarding the scanning of bar codes very carefully on this sheet.
- Give your information sheet to an associate who will provide you with a handheld scanner and directions on how to add items to your registry.
Delete From or Change Your Registry or Wish List
You can delete from or change a Gift Registry or a Wish List online or in most stores by following these steps:
At Walmart.com:
- Click "Registry" or "Wish List" at the top of any Walmart.com page.
- Click "Edit My Registry" (or Wish List).
- You must enter your PIN before you can access your Gift Registry or Wish List.
- The Edit My Registry page will include all of your Gift Registry or Wish List information. Choose the "Edit" link next to the information you wish to change.
- Make your changes and then click the Update button.
At a Walmart Store:
- Visit the Gift Registry kiosk, which can be found in the Jewelry department of most Walmart stores.
- To update items, customer information or print invitations, touch the Update Registry button.
- Enter your first name and touch the Enter button.
- Enter your last name and touch the Enter button.
- Use the up and down arrows to find your registry, and touch the name for the registry you wish to update.
- Enter your 4-digit PIN, and touch the Enter button.
- Change or update your personal information. To change the quantity of an item, touch the Change Item button.
- To print out more invitation slips, touch the Invitation Bar Code button.
- Touch the Complete button when you have finished updating your registry.
Why You Need a PIN
The Personal Identification Number (PIN) that you create is added security for your Gift Registry or Wish List, and is used to access it for changes or additions in the future. Your PIN number is a 4-digit number; it should be one that is easy for you to remember.
Please note: Your PIN is a different type of identification than your Walmart.com account password. If you have forgotten your PIN, you can access it by providing your registry information.
View Your Store Registry Online
To view your store registry online, follow these steps:
- Click "Registry" or "Wish List" at the top of any Walmart.com page.
- Under "Manage a Registry", choose "Connect My Store Registry."
- Enter the PIN you created when you started your registry or Wish List.
- Choose the Gift Registry or Wish List you want to connect and click the Connect button.
You and your guests can now access your Gift Registry or Wish List both online and at the Gift Registry kiosk in any Walmart store.
Find a Particular Registry Item in a Walmart Store
Find the department listed on the Registry (such as Baby, Home, Toys, etc.). The item you are looking for will be in that department. If you have any trouble finding an item, please ask a Walmart Associate.
Thank You Tracker
When items from your registry are purchased on Walmart.com, Thank You Tracker lists the name of the purchaser, the item they bought, the date it was purchased and other key details. (The name of the purchaser will not display on items bought at a Walmart store.)
How to use Thank You Tracker:
- Click "Registry" or "Wish List" at the top of any Walmart.com page.
- Click "Edit My Registry" (or Wish List). You must enter your PIN before you can access your Gift Registry or Wish List.
- Click on "Thank You Tracker," then click "Received."
- After you send a thank-you note, click the "Note Sent" box.
- Use the "Comments" box to remind yourself of important details about the gift (i.e., name of the purchaser of Walmart store items).
