Nice Desk,

For the price paid, this desk is well worth it. It has a nice appearance and is sturdy enough. It also didn't take too long to build. The only part that is a little weak is the slide out keyboard and mouse tray that is a little "flimsy"; but, otherwise a good desk.

Dimensions (rounded up to nearest inch)

Desk: 20" x 48" main section, 30" x 20" extension (L piece that is 50" x 20" including main section), 30" height w/ 25" floor to slide out keyboard tray (tray is 11.5" x 27.5")

Hutch: 10" x 48", 28" height

Monitor Opening: 19-3/4" W x 26-3/8" H (fits my 20" Dell Widescreen monitor with breathing room). You could also leave out the divider for the CD rack and get a width of 26-1/2" that would fit most any computer monitor.

I am happy with my purchase, especially for the money. The downside is before I even finished setting it up some of the paint/laminate was missing along the edges and I was not very rough with it while assembling.

You get what you pay for,

I read most of these reviews prior to purchase and saw all the complaints about dings and scratches I thought maybe they were the exception and not the rule. Not true... keep a rag near by as well because all the boards were covered in sawdust. I went ahead and assembled it because it was the size I needed for the space I have and can't find anything else nearby the same size. Please note that my desk surface was not scratched if it had been I would have sent it back. There were small scratches on many of the boards and the trim was falling off of another one but once assembled the scratches aren't so noticeable (and super glue works fine for putting the trim back on). most of the pilot holes were not drilled either. It's not very sturdy and I will probably have to add support to the leaf before I can use it the way I would like to. the door for the small shelf does not fit well any way you install it. Overall you get what you pay for and I would probably purchase it again (knowing what I know) because I have the ability to fix the things I don't like and the rest aren't noticeable...

Delivery time was excellent. I ordered ordinary shipping and It arrive 2 days before. The product arrived with some missing screws and few scratches. Once is assembled they aren't noticeable. Its very stable. Good purchase!
